I am excited to be joining the many women who are & have blogged today (well, actually yesterday now) to spread the word about preventing Heart Disease for “Blog Your Heart Out”! Thanks to Angela, the owner of Fitlosophy & creator of Fitbook, for starting this great campaign along with the American Heart Association.

Check out Angela’s “Blogging My Fitlosophy

5 bloggers.  5 weeks.  our mission: tell 5, save lives. ~ Meet the Bloggers

YOU can be a part of this amazing & life changing campaign. Help us spread the word by telling your loved ones, friends, & well… anyone really.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to, as Fitlosophy says it, “LIVE LIFE FIT”! Prevention is the key to a healthy life! I love being a trainer & having the opportunity to teach people how to live a healthy life. Sometimes all it takes is a little change here or there. Or maybe it’s changing your priorities.

Many times it’s “Oh I’ll start tomorrow, or next monday, or well I might as well just wait to start with my “New Years Resolutions” (what?! It’s only February!). There’s never a better or right time to start eating healthy or exercising than TODAY!!! HELLO…Yes, I’m speaking to you! Get off your butt & get moving!

What are you doing to be “Heart Healthy”?

Me? I eat healthy about 90% of the time, & yes I do enjoy my daily dark chocolate, daily coffee with, yes 1/2 & 1/2, and the occasional glass of wine. Read Fitness & Spice’s article on A Heart Healthy Cafe ~ It’s a good one :-)

I exercise regularly, both strength & cardio, plus all my running around after my kiddos.

I have seen incrediable changes in many clients who have been able to decrease their cholesterol & blood pressure WITHOUT medication but by changing their eating habits & exercising regularly!

So again I ask…What are YOU doing to be Heart Healthy? Please do share :-)

Get Off Your Butt & Get Moving!

P.S. If You don’t have a Fitbook now would be as best time as ever to start tracking your eating, exercise, &  making achievable goals!
